rewrite[edit]

This article does need some attention, but the edits [1] are not acceptable as is. For example, this edit lost the only source in the article, incorrectly claimed that breaker bars are also known as cheater bars, and incorrectly claimed that breaker bars are mainly used on lug nuts that have been applied with impact wrenches. It also used some awkward or questionable wording such as "are equipped with extended handles and without gears to ease loose extremely tight fasteners" and "Physics teaches that a longer arm gives more leverage". Contribution[edit]

For my contribution, I added the material and physics section. I believe the material section is needed to provide the reader with some knowledge on what breaker bars are made of and how they are able to withstand the higher torques needed to break loose tight fasteners. The physics section then goes into detail on the reason that breaker bars are longer than standard wrenches and the science behind the mechanical advantage of a lengthy handle.
