Novella Included With Game?[edit]

I could have sworn that a novella came with this game. Did it only come with certain platforms (ST, Amiga, etc.)? -75.130.90.56 02:27, 4 March 2007 (UTC)-[reply]

I still have the original package for the Amiga 500 game and there is no novella. It was sold with the manual functioning as the game package as it has a cardboard sleeve where the diskette and the poster is placed, there is no box or anything either. There is one page of introduction that introduces the setting, but it can hardly be called a novella. --Saddhiyama (talk) 21:06, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brataccas for Mac[edit]

I know this game was released for Mac because I owned the Mac version years ago. It's next to impossible to find reliable references because the game's over 2 decades old, but there's a small amount of discussion on the google groups archives confirming a Mac version was released.[1] --Muchness 05:45, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The game manual reads "This product will work on the Atari 520ST, the Commodore 512k Amiga and the Apple 512k Fat Mac. The sticker on the front of the package indicates which you have purchased.". --Saddhiyama (talk) 21:07, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did anyone know how to finish this?[edit]

I remember trying this game out on the ST, and eventually just giving up.

Combat was essentially impossible due to the huge lag times in the controls, but the upside was that the computer was just as bad at it and never actually hurt me. Once I figured this out I simply walked by all the people trying to kill me, and for the most part ignored everyone.

The manual said I was supposed to find the evidence and give it to someone, but never said who. So after discovering my invulnerability, I spent some time tracking down the evidence. This proved fairly easy, it seemed to be randomly placed in the game and you'd eventually find it if you just walked around enough, sometimes even more than one copy! But I could never figure out who to give it to, or how. The only thing you could do in the game was drop stuff, so I kept trying to drop it in front of people and they always ignored it.

So did anyone else figure it out? Was this game actually possible to finish? If so, what happened? What happened if you gave the evidence to the wrong person? Or was that even possible?

   Yup, you could finish it.
Just grab both envelopes and escape through the teleport in the starting room

Wow. Thanks Angelomcm for clearing this up. This certainly isn't what the manual implied. Maury Markowitz (talk) 14:22, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
