Is this the same as Saint Brynach?[edit]

Came to clean this up and discovered Saint Brynach. Are they the same? Braunton sends you to Saint Brynach for Saint Brannock. Some one should dig around and decide to either fix the link on Braunton, or merge this with Saint Brynach.:T L Miles 17:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed the link. The section there has no references but also has material not mentioned in this article which is frustrating. --NHSavage (talk) 17:45, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

St Brannock's Day on the 26 June ?[edit]

I am struggling to find any sources for the statement "Braunton celebrates St Brannock's Day on the 26 June". It would be nice to have a reliable source to cite to confirm this date.

I note that Orme (English Church Dedications, P137) says "There was allegedly a parish feast on Easter Monday c.1620 and in c. 1755 the parish feast was said to be held on Whit Monday". Whit Monday is sometimes in June and so I am wondering if this is the origin of the date mentioned here. --NHSavage (talk) 17:55, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
