Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it in no way, shape or form, advertises this group. Let's analyze the text piece by piece: Boycott Workfare is a British campaign group that has opposed "workfare" policies in the United Kingdom. - No advertising there, just a dictionary description. The group's campaigning has been successful in making several companies and charities pull out of "workfare" because of negative PR. - No advertising here, either. Just the results of their protesting. No advertising to be found here. Move along. --Revolution1221 (talk) 20:14, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you; it was not promotional. It's also not notable, and I came close to speedy deleting it per WP:CSD#A7. I redirected it instead.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:42, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Proclaiming them to be successful, attributing the results to them without sourcing that backs the claim up, yes, that sure looks promotional to me. -Nat Gertler (talk) 23:00, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I used to be member of this group, i left on bad terms and will be very unlikely to rejoin or have contact with them. I have joined wiki editors community, can we have discussion about the page, I do think it is important
