Questionable wikilink - William Henry Knight[edit]

The name William Henry Knight wikilinks with a portrait and genre painter of the same name who lived 1823-1863. Although the life dates fit the latter's article makes no reference to the cemeteries or any architectural work. Victorian architects usually had a working background in the building trades, no indication of which appears in his article, nor does his article indicate he was ever based in Cheltenham. To add to the improbability, the Historic England source states that in 1865 designs for individual monuments in the cemetery were referred to the same architect, who if he were the same as the painter would already be dead two years. I might say to the user who wililinked the name 'Are you sure it's him?'Cloptonson (talk) 06:36, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Questionable inclusion on list of notable burials and cremations[edit]

Lieutenant General James Gordon Legge (1863–1947), Australian Army officer, Chief of the General Staff of Australia

This uncited addition is questionable because he died in Victoria, Australia only two weeks after his wife, also in Australia. He is stated in the Australian Dictionary of Biography to have been buried at Cheltenham Cemetery, but as there is no indication it is the English Cheltenham, this would be surely Cheltenham, Victoria, which is a suburb of Melbourne, and has an Old Cemetery and New Cemetery both known to Commonwealth War Graves Commission) or even the Cheltenham Cemetery in Adelaide (also known to the CWGC). It is certainly more likely, given in post WWII conditions the practicality of a long voyage to repatriate his body to England. I am taking him off the list, it can go back in if it can be proved he is buried in Bouncer's Lane Cemetery.Cloptonson (talk) 18:59, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
