Is Kottelat's splitting proposal actually accepted? I find it suspicious that the proposal was made two years ago, and yet FishBase doesn't mention the new names at all. Stan 17:26, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FishBase is already updated. The page [1] shows both old name and the new valid name. Clicking on Botia macrocanthus (Clown loach) will lead to the species Chromobotia macracanthus -- Lerdsuwa 12:35, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Weird, I didn't see them two days ago, but there they are now! Stan 13:05, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
