Untitled[edit]

I just hear the comment about Bonnie Hunt being single a moment ago on TV with Letterman as it is being aired, how did that get into the text already??

Bonnie Hunt Show on NBC not ABC?

I note that the article covers the recent (July2007) start of The Bonnie Hunt Show as being on ABC; but now it is being shown on NBC - can this be clarified please.

I am watching it on ABC at this very moment. meinsla talk 14:17, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is a syndicated show. The stations vary market by market. In L.A. it is on NBC. Other parts of the country may see it on other channels. Cam330 (talk) 23:28, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

descent[edit]

On the February 10, 2009 Bonnie Hunt Show during the Jared Padalecki interview, she mentions that she is half Polish on her mother's side. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch-9c4SV3QU —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.90.129.75 (talk) 22:19, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do not see how, if she was born in 1964, she could have been an oncology nurse in 1982. that is the year most people born in 1964 were graduating high school.

She was born in 1961, not 64.

Also, the article does not mention that she was a start in the TV series GRAND for two years, somewhere around 1990 - near the beginning or her public acting career. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.235.202.79 (talk) 17:47, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The show is not a "tribute" to Dean Martin, as the article suggests--it is recorded on the same set where Dean did his tremendously successful variety show for many years, and that fact is acknowledged (respectfully) frequently. Many of the characteristic Dean Martin Show touches, such as the door where the "surprise guest" would enter, and the fire pole where Dean would slide down, are still on the set. There are photos on the wall from that era as well.

I am watching a rerun of the Sept. 22nd, 2009 show where she says it is her birthday. She ALSO states that she was born in 1961. Wikipedia needs to correct this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.238.93.143 (talk) 17:43, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date[edit]

Following on from the above comments, there are sources for her birth as 1961 and '64. The New York Times oddly cites both dates in the same article, which may flag that there is a genuine confusion. The Chicago Tribune, IMDb and the Saturday Evening Post all say 1961. Actors often knock off a few years from their professed age. Perhaps it happened for her at some point. None of the cites are rock solid, but there you are. Span (talk) 23:19, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bonnie hunt 'Age'[edit]

You are right, there are many sources that read she was born in 1961, IMDB of course is much like wikipedia and can be changed at the click of a finger, the information is likely to be false as is newspapers, like youve quoted before, actors like to knock off a few years of their age, however many of her films containing DVD extras of cast contain her birth year including Jumanji of 1964, I very much doubt they would release false information on a DVD.

It may be a genuine confusion rather than 'false information'. The broadsheet newspaper sources give various dates. Some even suggest 1954. The strongest sources presently seem to state 1961 including her agents. Short seeing official documentation such as a birth cert, I'm not sure there is much we can do except citing the strongest sources and note that it's unclear. In Bonnie's biography it mentions that she has a sister, Helen Hunt, who is also an actress. However, the parents names for each of these two woman are different. Also, in Helen Hunt's bio, it states she's not related to Bonnie.
