Wii/PS3 Reboot[edit]

This should be edited, as Hudson has now been closed and all projects, including the Bonk reboot, have been canceled. (130.76.96.156 (talk) 17:22, 3 March 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Rephrase[edit]

. . .and third stage where he looks kinda crazy. . .

Could someone rephrase this? I've never played the game, so I wouldn't no. It sounds so unprofessional. Masternimbus 19:15, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Though it could be phrased better, the statement is fairly accurate. 172.162.122.110 19:46, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BC Kid[edit]

Why has the Amiga version been renamed (in the Category:Amiga tag, it used to have a |BC Kid after it)? It was released on the Amiga as BC Kid, and so should have that name on the game list. Tim (Xevious) 13:02, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because it will still show up as "Bonk's Adventure" in the category. Categories list stuff by their articles name. Just adding "|BC Kid" won't do anything. TJ Spyke 00:39, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meat/gender[edit]

I just removed this bit from the article:

In the original game, the second stage turns Bonk into a caveman, but in Japanese versions of the second and third game, he becomes a cavewoman. This gender transformation was scrapped for the US entries in the series due to inappropriate reasons in the United States.

I'm not sure where this information comes from (it very well could be true; I have no idea) and originally just put a "citation needed" tag on it. On rereading it, though, I think the author is talking about how meat affects Bonk in the Japanese versions of the sequels to Bonk's Adventure, in which case, it doesn't even pertain to this article. Anyway here's the text. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Xastic 10:18, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

I've removed all citation tags and added sources where appropriate. The external links at the bottom of the page to the Bonk Compendium has a full pdf instruction manual, and adequately references the gameplay mechanics. Further inline citations should not be necessary as the article stands - superβεεcat  19:59, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of sequels?[edit]

How is it that this article doesn't mention anything about the game's sequels. Bonk's Revenge I remember, but I a cruelly came here to seemif there were others, and there's no mention whatsoever about even that game. As I said, I don't remember enough abou them to include them, but someone more knowledgable should. And don't say the external link on the bottom is enough; that's not even sufficient as a citation (as it's unclear as to what is being supported by it and, as a fan site it's not really a remaking source), let alone for actually navigating through wikipedia (forcing people to go to an external site is anthema to Wikipedia's purpose and questionable to the max.) oknazevad (talk) 20:44, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FC Definition[edit]

Under section Development & release history, the Famicom version suggests that "FC stood for Freakthoropus Computerus." The text on the physical Famicom cartridge actually reads "Friendthropus Computerurus."
