Merger proposal[edit]

Bomberman (WiiWare) should probably be merged with this article. From all accounts, the WiiWare release is the exact same game minus the single player campaign mode and other extra features that will be on the retail disc release. Misterkillboy (talk) 04:05, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided to redirect the WiiWare page. From everything that has been reported, including the reveal of the title, the WiiWare version and the retail version is pretty much the same game. Misterkillboy (talk) 02:10, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Retail release?[edit]

This reasonably reliable source claims:

Sadly, the retail game fell through for Europe and North America, which means that you can only get the battle mode portion of the game on WiiWare. Lucky Japanese gamers will still get the full blown version it seems.

I'm not feeling bold enough to edit the article... any sources to confirm a Pal/N.Am release? If not, it should be changed.  slυмgυм [ ←→ ] 20:29, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I really think the article should be edited. As this is an informational site, I went here to find out information, and so started looking for the standalone Wii version of the game. Living in the US, though, it simply doesn't exist; you can't buy it. As a result, this article is a bit misleading. I think at the very least it should be noted that the standalone version of the game isn't currently being sold in the US. For the source, just try to find it. 76.173.189.236 (talk) 03:51, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WRONG[edit]

In the overview it says "The game revolves around Bomberman saving the players miis from 5 bosses." and it says "You can also use rubys to buy power ups.". I myself downloaded Bomberman Blast and all these facts are wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.234.156.70 (talk) 22:00, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They're talking about the retail version, not the WiiWare version. I have the retail version, and that's how it works. You buy rubies to obtain power-ups and you save your Miis from 5 bosses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yoshiller (talkcontribs) 23:01, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
