Assessment[edit]

I am assessing this article following a request as C / Mid. This has become a quality article, and is close to B-class and could even be WP:GA with some work. The history section is comprehensive and well detailed on the schools long history, which is great, though it currently dominates the article. The lead should be expanded a bit to summarise each section as well as introduce the topic per WP:LEAD. A few sections are also missing, such as Campus and Extra-curricular activities; WP:SCH#AG gives some guidance on structure. Referencing is not bad with citation templates used and most sections well referenced, the main exception being the alumni section. The article is also reliant on primary sources directly from the school, try and use secondary sources as much as possible with plenty of variation. I've assessed this for WP:NRHP as an advanced start-class. There is hardly any specific discussion of why the building or campus is listed on the National Register, and virtually no description of the physical structure. Notable people section[edit]

Hi. I removed a bunch of names from the Notable section today. I think whomever originally did that section did not know what was supposed to go there and just used the school's hall of fame for entries. No-one can be on a notable list without an independent (not associated with themselves or the school) reference showing that they meet Wikipedia's definition of notability, which will be found at WP:BIO. Generally, the best indication of notability is the existence of a Wikipedia bio of the person. I did leave one entry that did not have a Wiki bio; He was a state supreme court justice and that fact was referenced independently. He would qualify for a Wiki Bio, so I left him. Many of the names I removed may be notable, with proper referencing or better yet the creation of a Wiki article on them. John from Idegon (talk) 19:48, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
