The David Jack transfer[edit]

Someone is telling porkie pies! George Allison's account is somewhat different to Wall's. According to Allison, it was he & Chapman that travelled to Bolton to meet Jack and the Bolton directors. There was no mention of Bob Wall or spiking the drinks of the Bolton directors. Very interesting. Having read Arsenal From The Heart, there appear to be quite a few instances of Mr Wall being contradicted by others.
