Bob Payton Crown Passage London[edit]

Great man. Employed me as pizza maker at Crown Passage. Used to come in and say “Make me some money!” Worked with Miles from Australia who devised the salad bar to which you could add mayo, thousand island, french dressing. Salad was shredded white and red cabbage, iceberg (hand torn not cut!), radish slices, cress, sliced mushrooms, in big tubs. V grateful to this man as I destitute then. Used to love handling pizza dough for deep dish.
