Untitled[edit]

Sven had a wife named Mær so the runestone could be herdecication and the legend could be about Svens wife. (This comment was left in article by User:67.182.193.161 on 5 June 2008, but moved to the talk page.)

I moved the comment above to the talk page, but I don't have an opinion on the issue. Olaus (talk) 05:56, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of relevant info[edit]

A cross-reference was removed unecessarily.

Sources indicate that this may have been the same person as Håkan the Red.

I see no weighty reason to remove relevant information given in cross-references. Restoring. SergeWoodzing (talk) 12:27, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is not what hatnotes are for. Removed again. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 19:25, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Third opinion[edit]

I am responding to a request for a third opinion. Hatnotes do serve a different purpose. To me it seems obvious that the text may be included (without special formatting) in an appropriate paragraph if the information is significant and verifiable (encyclopedic), otherwise not. – Athaenara 08:14, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It already says in the lede that Schück thought that this was Håkan the Red, which is sufficiently prominent for this speculation. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 09:59, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Athaenara! Cordially, SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:56, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome. – Athaenara 16:52, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
