"Blended Learning in K-12 Settings"[edit]

What is a 'K-12 Setting'? Wikipedia is an international project, and shouldn't be using local jargon. AndyTheGrump (talk) 23:01, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's removed now with the big chop, and of course you are correct, but for the record K-12 refers to Kindergarten-12th grade, the standard for basic education in the U.S. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:11, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"helpful!"[edit]

I read the term "blended learning" and did not know what is was. This wikipedia page gave me a good introduction. I suggest not to delete this (entire) page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.179.72.230 (talk) 18:58, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

the wiki-axe has chopped this to a stub[edit]

Per the AFD on this article, it has now been reduced to a brief stub.

  • Please do not revert to any prior version of the article before this edit:[1] . A consensus was established in the deletion discussion that there were serious problems with this article as previously written.
  • Possibly useful sources may be found by viewing the page history, old revisions, and the deletion discussions. These may be useful in rebuilding this as more appropriate article
  • I have also removed all the external links. These should be reviewed individually and evaluated before being added back in.
  • Discussion of how to properly start again should probably precede any attempt to actually do so, this may be one of those rare situations where boldness is not such a great idea.

Added pointers to "Personalized Learning" and "Differentiated Instruction"[edit]

The semantics of how to describe some of these new pedagogies is still being worked out. We all need to be as conscious as possible as we try to describe and define them. Alex Jackl (talk) 16:21, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Added some more clarifications and citations[edit]

This is a complex subject and we need to be careful not to oversimplify it. Alex Jackl (talk) 17:54, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As if the goal is to add to the length![edit]

Here again in this article one sees unnecessary repetitions of the same point. as if the goal is to add to the length. wonder if such a trend is recommended. When one skims an article one can easily ignore such repetitions and the fake extra volume. but when the goal is to learn or translate, this makes the job difficult and the result weak. Keeping the texts short and useful is a real challenge for the English Wiki pedia.Arbabi second (talk) 18:48, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
