Controversy section[edit]

I just removed an unsourced controversy section. From Google news searches I believe there are probably some sources we can use, but I didn't have free access to any of the articles so couldn't confirm. Since this is about a living person we must have those citations before we can add the material to the article (see WP:BLP). -- SiobhanHansa 14:16, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody replaced it :\. If no one protests in 1 week, I'm going to remove it again.

After looking through the history further, I'd conclude that this article is being edited by a number of locals who may (or may actually not) have personal knowledge of the subject. Karen 55 red and 75.71.130.73 have added information in a non-encyclopedic manner. In particular, this edit ([1]) was unnecessary and did not improve the article. I intend to revert the opening paragraph and remove unsourced personal information after the week I mentioned already. - DevOhm ^Talk 00:39, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I used to live in Beulah, Colorado near this castle and most of the information written is correct. However, the reason no verifiable information or citations is because it is such a small and scarcely populated area that there is no good links to historical evidence of the castle. The only proof people have is directly from images, visitation, and discussions with the builder, whom I’ve talked to myself. We may not be able to get many if any sources explaining the history. Reverted to revision?[edit]

Ok. So I changed,

"He has faced numerous challenges with the local and state government over ownership and activities on the site."

to

"In 1996, he was challenged by the local and state government over unsanctioned road signs that pointed to the site. They settled the dispute by issuing official road signs."

The originally referenced article says:

"The highway department didn't like Bishop's highway signs giving directions to the castle, about 16 miles northwest of Rye and about 25 miles southwest of Pueblo. After much acrimony, there now is a state-approved sign pointing to the site."^[1]

The change was reverted by Hell in a Bucket with reason: non sourced specifics. Could someone inform me what that means? I attempted to make the sentence more accurate compared to what it was before...Dlpolanco (talk) 02:38, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
