Since both Billboard Radio Monitor and Radio & Records will be combined into one weekly, its best that these articles be merged into one. Robert Moore 18:56 14 July 2006 (UTC)

I think they should remain as separate articles, since each magazine has a separate history up to this point. You could link the new article to each article. I would remove my objection, however, if instead you would have the history of each current magazine in a separate paragraph. It that case there needs to be a redirect from both current articles to the new article. Please expand on your explanation for merging otherwise. --Royalbroil 05:15, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
After reading your reponse I like your idea of redirecting the articles into a new one (Now that VNU will continue using the Radio & Records name), so I have no objections to that suggestion. Plus you already answered the same questions I was going to ask about the history of both magazines by putting them in separate paragraphs because of their comparisons to each other in terms of music charts, articles, playlists, etc. Robert Moore 19:02, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I decided to do a new article about the "New" R&R rather than merging the two magazines since the new version will be different from both trades. Robert Moore 19:48, 04 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
