External link to discography[edit]

Brian Aaker's discography page is woefully out of date (last updated sometime between 2005 and 2007 it appears.) That link either needs to be removed or replaced if we can find something similar in scope (assuming such a thing even exists.) HardwareLust (talk) 15:47, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Missing sources[edit]

Since allmost all albums are linked to its own lemma I think it is not necessary here to link the albums all one by one. My experience is that Discogs is not well respected here, although it is far more reliable than the overrated AllMusic, since Discogs has actual photographs of album sleeves so it can stand in for the one that you might have in your own shelf. The percentage that has no lemma nor ref is small, so there is no urgency for a signpost like this. MenkinAlRire 18:57, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hal Willner[edit]

It is sad that someone doe not understand and can't appreciate the special nature of his project that appear homogenous like any other artist's ouevre. Frisell was an integral part of (almost?) his project, and I see their livelong artistic relationship as somewhat similar to the ones Frisell has with John Zorn and with Paul Motian and Joe Lovano. But, ok, let the principle rule. Sad. MenkinAlRire 18:57, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
