Besides North Sumatra, there is also a river named Bila in Sulawesi, called "Salo Bila," where "Salo" means River. In Sumatra, rivers are usually named with prefixes like "Batang," "Air," or "Krueng." Typically, the names of rivers in Indonesia have prefixes that indicate their geographical location.
