What exactly is the problem with the map? It is made in accordance with the map from the book of Russian author Sedov, and this is original map from that book: http://www.dodaj.rs/f/3d/PP/bVFVG7O/bijelobrdo.jpg (so, it is not correct that map “conflicts with the description given in the source”)
Yes, the depicted area in a map “does not encompass the area of the eponymous village”, but does it have to encompass it? Map from mentioned book clearly states that it shows only “basic territory” of this culture (not its entire area of influence). Village of Bijelo Brdo was obviously in the periphery of this culture and it is nothing but pure coincidence that this culture was discovered in this village and named after it. 92.60.225.16 (talk) 10:50, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That book is not referenced from the article. The source linked to in the article says in the first paragraph that this name is used in reference to artifacts found:
[...] u ranosrednjovjekovnim grobljima južne i jugoistočne Slovačke, Mađarske, jugoistočne Austrije, sjeverne Hrvatske i Slovenije, te zapadne Rumunjske i Vojvodine
"[...] in the early medieval cemeteries of southern and southeastern Slovakia, Hungary, southeastern Austria, northern Croatia and Slovenia, and western Romania and Vojvodina"
This glaring discrepancy needs to be reconciled in the article text first, otherwise it all looks schizophrenic.
