Big Ten Football Championship Game[edit]

  • There was no need to move from football Championship to just Championship. You have basketball tournament, so why not football championship? The official title is "Big Ten Football Championship" game. Bband11th (talk) 21:23, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • I moved it to match the other conferences e.g SEC Championship Game, ACC Championship Game, MAC Championship Game, Big 12 Championship Game, but I wouldnt mind if someone wanted to/did move it back. Bcspro (talk) 02:25, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • I went ahead and changed it back to "Big Ten Football Championship Game" because that is the official name of the event per the reference given, which directs to the Big Ten Conference website. If users search "Big Ten Championship Game" it will redirect, so it virtually matches the others. JVorpe (talk) 05:12, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction Section[edit]

  • The Big Ten Football Championship Game is a college football game that is held by the Big Ten Conference each year since 2011 to determine the conference's season champion. The championship game will pit the division champions from the conference's East division and the winner of the Iowa vs. Wisconsin game in a game held after the regular season has been completed. The game is held the first Saturday of December at 8 PM Eastern.*

I don't understand the Iowa vs Wisconsin statement? Shouldn't It be the East division vs the West division? Is it just a bad joke?

Team colors in results table[edit]

I've made a change to the SEC Championship Game and Big 12 Championship Game pages that I'd like to make here as well; using team colors only for the winning team in the results table (rather than using team colors for both teams). I've had difficulty reading these tables, as coloring both teams yields low readability; using colors just for the winning team is much clearer. Comments welcome, thanks.
