"the music it was spoken over was changed to the instrumental version of th megatons Shimmy Shimmy Walk part 2"

I have never heard any of Jack's signoffs over this music, and I have airchecks of him at every station he has worked at since 1964. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, since all of the airchecks don't include the signoff. A reference or citation would be nice. What station did he do this at? -- Elaich 00:01, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Drunk on the air[edit]

Should add that jack's broadcasts were fueled by 7 and 7. source: http://paintyourbaldspot.com/?action=showBlog&blog_id=4169 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Charlywithay (talkcontribs) 06:25, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know. That is one person's recollection and the story may have been embellished over the years. I listened to the whole podcast to discover that the part about Jack is almost at the very end. Also, I have seen Jack do his show several times, and he never appeared to be under the influence. It could be that he went through a period when he did. -- Elaich talk 21:37, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
