Article Cleanup?[edit]

What's wrong with the article? What's so bad that it needs a cleanup now, nearly a year after the series has finished? --JDtalkemail 23:18, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needs headers, get rid of the table, etc. -- 9cds(talk) 23:22, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Get rid of the table? You can't do that - the table is the best thing the article has. --JDtalkemail 23:25, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hense why it needs cleaning up ;) -- 9cds(talk) 23:28, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And how do you intend on tidying up the table? --JDtalkemail 23:31, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't - I intend on tagging it and letting someone else do the dirty work ;) -- 9cds(talk) 23:33, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, how do you suppose they're going to tidy up the table? --JDtalkemail 23:34, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
However they like. -- 9cds(talk) 23:36, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Is that another way of saying you don't know? --JDtalkemail 23:37, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kate[edit]

Skinny Kate/Rachel (or whatever her name is)

What was the homophobic remark she made? And like she can talk, she looks like a Dyke. talk

Big Brother dared Tim and Greg to pash, and she was saying how she couldn't watch because she was a homophobe. Then it went on for ages with Tim explaining what homophobia is, and she changed her mind once or twice, before settling on, watching two guys kiss makes her sick. —JD[don't talk|email] 09:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

:O[edit]

omg what did you do? it looks... spacy... Too spacy. --JDtalkemail 07:11, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not revert changes to try to get your own way, since you have already hit 3 reverts elsewhere. -- 9cds(talk) 11:33, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
9cds, you realise that admins aren't immune to 3RR blocks. Start thinking about why people do things. Ansell 11:41, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm fully aware of that. -- 9cds(talk) 11:44, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What made you say that anyway? Was it aimed at me? --JDtalkemail 11:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chronology[edit]

I think the chronology should contain tasks and warnings, especially the warnings though. --JDtalkemail 20:52, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's too many tasks for them to be of any interest. Warnings, if it was like other serieses where there were a few, sure, but again there were too many. -- 9cds(talk) 21:03, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Like other serieses? The other "serieses" don't even have chronology sections. I already tried to keep the information in the chronology to the bare basics, like tasks and that. That's the sorts of things that some people would like in a chronology. It's hardly over-written, to the extent where it would have to be put on another page or anything. --JDtalkemail 21:24, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Friday Night Live[edit]

In the Chronology section, it says this:

"Instead of Friday Night Games, the housemates are given a special task. Glenn passes the task, and receives FNL privilages. He invites Logan into the Rewards Room."

Now, I can't say I remember the first FNL particularly well (I beleive I only half-watched it), but as far as I can tell it was a regular episode of Friday Night Live, with the only difference being the way the teams advanced further into the game. Or did I miss something? Cyclone49 06:05, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If it's wrong, then please correct it. A few other things could be wrong also. --JD[don't talk|email] 08:08, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use of images[edit]

Although each individual use of each copyrighted image on this page would qualify as "fair use" in U.S. law, as a whole, having 28 copyrighted images would not qualify as fair use. In the U.S., the quantity of the copied work is of principal importance in determining whether the use is acceptable or not. I have removed all but the most important copyrighted images. Note that an article on the each individual person could include that person's image without problems, if anyone wants to do that. All the best, – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:22, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where Kate lives[edit]

I found this revision in the edit history. After doing a couple of Google searches, I found this page. Gretel said at Launch that Kate was from WA, and I think the website said that as well, so that kinda rules out Townsville, but I can't find anything solid on the Internet. Does anybody know for certain where she lives, or lived at the time of the BB05 Launch? jd || talk || 16:34, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nominations[edit]

False information[edit]

Someone added false information about Big Brother 2007's Rebecca actually being Kate from Big Brother 2005, I don't know who added this but it is clearly false information that had to be edited out, no body even mentions this. I might issue a warning to them, but since I'm a newbie I don't really know how.

Kate's Statements Re: Homosexuality[edit]

I think this is noteworthy. Kate, while in the house, said she "hated" gay people. This should be added to the house mate profile info. This is more prominent as the "gay vote" is thought to have led to her eviction. McDanger 06:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

nominations table[edit]

it's messed up completely. it's one behind or something. can someone fix it? godgoddingham 333 14:37, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:BB05-ANEA.JPG[edit]

Image:BB05-ANEA.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
