Ambrosia?[edit]

Could this be the inspiration for the Ambrosia chain in the Nero Wolfe novella 'Omit Flowers' by Rex Stout?--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 15:57, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article is confusing[edit]

Is the current Bickford's chain in New England related to the New York diners? The article implies this, but none of the sources listed confirm or deny it. MarkHB (talk) 13:07, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they are. I think the article is clear enough on that, as it talks about an expansion. JohnnyB256 (talk) 00:29, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, in case anyone is still interested, the current Bickford's website says "Est. 1921". I don't think they could do that legally if there were no connection. --Alan W (talk) 22:40, 10 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
