Wording of text - possible misunderstandings[edit]

I looked up "bezel" because I got unsure about understanding it correctly (re. TV's).

Now, after looking for at other sources of information, I understand that "bezel" does indeed on a TV mean what I am used to calling "frame" in my daily language.

In the article it says: "The front surround of a TV or VDU screen, particularly in cathode ray tube screens" "The removable plastic faceplate or front panel of a slot, such as CD or DVD player."

In the first sentence, I wonder if it would be constructive to add the word "frame" in parantheses after the word "surround", to make it more easily understood to people with limited technical understanding? One could wonder, does "surround" mean the edge of the screen itself or the outermost edge or "frame"?

In the second sentence, I question the use of the word "removable". I understand the word as something that you can "take off" entirely, while my experience with faceplates on CD-, DVD-players etc., is that they are in some way hinged and can be "opened" rather than removed (except for a car CD player I had which had a faceplate that could be removed in order to bring it inside with you to prevent theft of the whole CD-player which could not be used without it). The explanation of the word "remove" I get when I look it up in a Norwegian-English Dictionary (Norwegian being my native language), is also in line with my understanding above. Also remember the faceplate or bezel of an old fashioned audio cassette player, was called a "door" in Norwegian - hence something you can open rather than remove. So would it be constructive to at least add something to indicate that the bezel normally can be opened rather than being removed entirely? Then it could be more clear for all users (incl. those not having English as as a native language).

Because of the language issue, I usually only fix typographical errors I notice. I am a bit worried when it comes to doing other types of edits, because of my more limited knowledge compared to English-speaking users. For that reason, I choose to post this on the talk page, hoping that somebody better equipped to do a possible edit, reads it and takes a look...
