Problems with Better choice parking, Airparks and Holiday extras articles[edit]

These three articles are all written to promote businesses of "Holiday Extras Holdings", and they all have similar problems:

  • Claims made without reliable, independent sources, such as: "UK market leader for airport parking", "750,000 passengers a year", "has won a string of awards", etc. Editors must understand that paid-for "advertorial" or classified ads are not acceptable sources.
  • Material that isn't appropriate for an encyclopedia presented in a biased, "peacock" style
  • Spam links, e.g. to online booking sites like this.

The editor responsible for the Better choice parking article (Jonclarke84 (talk · contribs)) has deleted the {{Primarysources}}, {{advert}} and {{prod}} three times today. If the articles are not brought to encyclopedic quality they will have to be deleted. - Pointillist (talk) 15:28, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been edited to fit with Wikipedia's policies. It has been wrongly nominated for deletion due to weakness of another article, Airparks. Understand that BCP is a well-known brand in the UK, but not present in the USA. Article should not be deleted. Jonclarke84 (talk) 09:09, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
