• "that the couple were no longer together" mildly confusing as to which couple this is referring.
• "the New York Daily News were " overlinked.
• " by Liz Smith that" likewise.
• "bitches...I " non-breaking space before the ellipsis and a regular space after the ellipsis.
• Apply to other ellipses in the article.
• ""...before" but in this case, it's a non-breaking space after the ellipsis!
• Could link column inch.
• New York Times is The New York Times.
• "the New York Post reporter" previously you abbreviated this to Post. Be consistent.
• "accompany the headline" (or close variants) appears three times in three sentences, bit repetitive.
• "ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN " you linked all the newspapers, I imagine it's not unreasonable to link all these broadcasters.
• "headline, Maples" odd punctuation, maybe a colon/semi-colon, but not a comma.
