Where wikipedia fails...[edit]

There's no simple way to add in the obnoxiously overprounounced dismissive-tone joke pronounciation of the city name that often comes as a response to naming the city. I.e. "BERRR-wyyyn?!?" See. Can't really do it.

In addition, to document this fact would violate some or another wikipedia policy somewhere, because despite the ubiquity of the joke response thing in the Chicago area, I seriously doubt if anyone has ever written it down officially anywhere that people do this. Therefore it would be uncited, original research, impossible to represent without at least an audio byte, and yet a completely totally real phenomenon.

Demographics[edit]

The 2nd paragraph in this section is laden with bad grammar and syntax. Just for example, when you say "were headed by married couples" you don't have to add "living together". Okay if I clean it up a little - won't change any stats or statements, just make the sentences clearer.--Daveler16 (talk) 17:47, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
