Section regarding Ollman v. Evans was laughably biased, making it seem as if Ollman succeeded in a crusade to protect academic freedom. In actuality, his attempt to stifle speech of journalists was rejected by the courts. I've updated and added a link to the case to reflect this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.59.180.209 (talk) 04:38, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's a tremendous irony given that your above statement is laughably biased. Slugmaster (talk) 21:58, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The notion that Bertell Ollman discriminates against conservative students seems ludicrous in light of the fact that the libertarian scholar Chris Sciabarra did his doctoral thesis under Ollman and remains close to him despite their obvious differences in political outlook. Sciabarra is noted as a leading Ayn Rand scholar (he is the author of Ayn Rand: The Russian Radical and he also writes on the work of Friedrich Hayek and Murray Rothbard. Is the content of his early writings sufficiently reflected here? He does state very clearly that teachers and supervisors, i.e. those with powers of authority and instruction in the classrom, should use that position in every way for the Marxist and Socialist education of students with the goal of creating from the student body a socialist activist network.158.143.133.35 (talk) 14:47, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
