Untitled[edit]

This article says that Omahoney was born (1) in Luton and (2) Dunstable. Must have been a large baby. --TheGuntz (talk) 18:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Section about acquitted persons[edit]

I have deleted a section due to it being BLP, and containing an accusation of murder in Wikipedia's voice against two acquitted women, without any references. The only source I could find for O'Mahoney's involvement in the case is a 1995 article by Nick Davies that appeared in the Guardian called 'The Scoop Monger'. He says neither O'Mahoney or the newspaper he seems to have been associated with while he was befriending accused persons could publish these accusations because it was clearly libelous. O'Mahoney's account does not seem to have been "published" as the section says. According to Davies's article, O'Mahoney was represented by the News Of the World's lawyer, and they had court privilege to report on an affidavit O'Mahoney made in the course of a court hearing. So as I understand it what the section says is something that has never been published in a reputable source, and can't be accepted in the article.Overagainst (talk) 11:26, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
