Originally French?[edit]

That would have been the Norman pronunciation yes, but Belvoir has been pronounced Beaver wherever it appears in England and Northern Ireland - the English have always been funny like that with Norman French names eg Cholmondeley being said as Chumley 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 00:22, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

County[edit]

Isn't Belvoir now in the reinstated county of Rutland since the boundary change, not Leicestershire? 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 00:22, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
