Fayette County[edit]

A while back, I requested that the GNIS amend their listing for Belva to mention that a portion of it lies in Fayette County, based on this map; they agreed and updated the listing, so I updated the article. Belva was made a CDP after that, and the CDP is located entirely within Nicholas County according to the Census Bureau's reference maps. The GNIS hasn't updated its listing for the Belva populated place, but its listing for the Belva census-designated place agrees with the Census Bureau. Since Belva now has an official boundary, should the article still say that it lies in Fayette County or not? I made a temporary update to reflect the change, but I want a second opinion on this. Incidentally, despite what the map says the post office is located in Nicholas County according to Google Street View imagery. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 00:07, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If it has a boundary, I would argue for categorizing it in Nicholas but including a mention about the DOT, etc, including a portion of Belva in Fayette. youngamerican (wtf?) 15:29, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
