Doubtful accuracy[edit]

@ArticleMaker2: My reading of the Gazetteer for Scotland - https://www.scottish-places.info/features/featurefirst2673.html - and an OS map - https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=16&lat=57.07974&lon=-2.55388&layers=6&b=1&marker=57.079625,-2.551024 - suggests that Beltie Burn ends at its confluence with the Peelie Burn, from whch point the watercourse is the Burn of Canny. Right now this article, to my understanding, gives a miseadling impression that Beltie Burn stretches as fas as the Dee. It does not. --Tagishsimon (talk) 18:31, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Tagishsimon and ArticleMaker2:: I've quickly added a {{disputed-inline}} to give interim indication of the issue. I scanned google maps prior to bringing this to article space and that seemed to indicate Beltie Burn, bu tthat isn't authoritative and could be wrong (ggoel maps doesn't seem to show Belite burn going to the sea.. I was also fascinated by the water treatment works near the mouth which is called invercarrie. I don't have a definite answer and am occupied elsewhere at the moment. Thankyou. @Tagishsimon and ArticleMaker2:: I've adjusted the article to also include the 'Canny Burn. I'd also note [1] which identified the junction at the point where the Blacklinn Burn points. What I did probably isn't pretty but it works (I think). If this isn't okay feel free to let me know. Thankyou. Djm-leighpark (talk)
