Royal Palace[edit]

Did Leopold take his oath in the Royal Palace or on the square in front of the as yet unbuilt palace? Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 20:36, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe that the palace was unbuilt. Don't forget that there was a palace there before the rebuilding by Leopold II. I'm not sure though - I believe I've seen a painting of the coronation in the Place Royale in front of the Ste Jacques-sur-Coudenbourg church...Brigade Piron (talk) 11:59, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
