Untitled[edit]

In the introduction it is asserted that the playwright learned he was "totally" wrong about the facts of Becket's story. Then a few sentences later the writer lists those aspects of the play which can be considered historically accurate. Hence it would be apropos to change the previous sentence to: "historically incorrect in certain important aspects". Respectfully, --BTG 18:03, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

German Page[edit]

The german page (reached by clicking on "Deutsch" on the left side) is about the movie, not about the play, it should be changed to Becket (film). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.235.40.46 (talk) 15:35, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Premiere[edit]

Why in the info box does it say that the premiere was in 1960 at the St James Theatre (Broadway) when in the text the premiere is said to have taken place in Paris in 1959? I propose altering this. I'm not sure that it's appropriate to describe it as a 'Tony Award-winning play' as if the New York production was 'the play': it was just the first English production: the play already existed in its original version which did not win a Tony Award.
