Coo-ordinates[edit]

Can someone give me the exact co-ordinates of the battle, if it is known, please. 78.144.84.192 (talk) 08:47, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As the article says, the battle is supposed to have taken place at what is now Vauxhall Fields, Monmouth - 51°48′54″N 2°43′19″W / 51.815°N 2.722°W / 51.815; -2.722 Ghmyrtle (talk) 19:36, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is it normal practice to add co-ords to battle articles? Martinevans123 (talk) 19:44, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Query[edit]

I believe on the basis of researching the article about Baldwin that the "advocate of Béthune" may also be involved. This title may refer to a Robert, who may be the Robert de Guînes who was Baldwin's brother. Or not: Robert was a very common name of the time. If anyone has some good sources on this matter, I'd be glad to use them to tie up this loose end. (I'm failing to convince myself that I know the French for "advocate of Béthune", which was a title held rather than a job description.) Charles Matthews (talk) 09:13, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
