Page Layout[edit]

I think the Battle Beast page is cleaned up right now. Please state any further (2005-10-05) layout changes and their purpose here. Also, please sign your talk (even if you're not logged in) with ~~~~, it'll datestamp your message. ShotokanTuning 10:16, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've added numerous details and some external links as well, to make the page more reader friendly and give as many facts and details about the line that are known. Darwin's Bulldog 23:05, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is some confusing text regarding the Sunburst figures: "The Sunburst was extremely rare, in a ten pack in Japan, or Pirate Leo was available in America as a variant" I can't figure out for the life of me what that sentence is supposed to mean. 170.170.59.133 (talk) 20:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

I think Battle Beasts is a high-quality actionfigure toyline, with a great design team. ShotokanTuning 15:13, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Animation[edit]

The commercial featured an animated sequence, though no individual cartoon series was produced.

In the Japanese Transformers: Headmasters episode "Rebellion on Planet Beast," the Transformers encounter the Battle Beasts (BeastFormers) on their own planet. They also appear in the manga story "Great Deciding Battle of the Beast Lifeforms!" in Terebi Magazine. [1] [2]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bbbook.JPG[edit]

Image:Bbbook.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:Planetbeast147.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Planetbeast147.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 26 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Details on Society[edit]

In terms of society and culture, I've noticed that pretty much all known characters are royal (they're all either king or emperor), and male (the only female beastformer shown at all was an unidentified one with a husband and child).184.186.4.209 (talk) 02:36, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology[edit]

Since the Hasbro toy line didn't acknowledge the Transformers connection, only the Takara toy line in Japan, shouldn't the headings be "Cybertrons" and "Destrons" instead of "Autobots" and "Decepticons"?73.65.163.173 (talk) 05:26, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
