Debatable photographs
Two photographs – File:Modern basque.jpg and the very similar, if not "identical" File:Modern basque 2.jpg – have been added to this article by the same editor at different times, and the latter is still present on the page. Attempts to remove the photographs have typically been reverted by the editor who added them without explanation. Both photographs have now been nominated for deletion and on one of the nomination pages there is a suggestion that the model may not have given her consent. The photographs are of poor quality and add nothing to the article. Can we please create some consensus here as to whether these photographs (or future copies thereof) should be used in this article or not? - Polly Tunnel (talk) 16:02, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
- It seems ridiculous to say it adds nothing to the article since it is the only illustration of the main modern meaning of basque.I think most basques do not have the garter/suspender clips like the other one shown. Please explain. Johnbod (talk) 00:26, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- The model is obviously not wearing underwear, a reverse image search reveals it is part of a porn photo shoot. This is hardly the appropriate photo to illustrate the main modern meaning of basque.
