Image[edit]

A side profile image like this (which can be found in 'product shots' in the photo section of 98bravo.com) would be more suited for the article; perhaps, Adolphus79, you could establish permission for that particular photo. Hayden120 (talk) 06:35, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm waiting to hear back from Barrett at the moment to see if they are willing to release this image under GFDL. If they do, I'm going to ask if they could do the same for the other Barrett products that we are missing images of. I figured this was the image that they gave me to use, so something is better than nothing.
Also, regarding the bulleted formatting, I am waiting for more information to become available. At the moment, the only information available is what little I could process from 98bravo.com, and it is just simple design features. Once there is a little more info available (G&A or someone does a review), then I'm sure we could fill that in with paragraph style information. If you want to take a stab at it, feel free. I just wanted to at least get the information into the article for now... - Adolphus79 (talk) 02:24, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy description is non-sense[edit]

Accuracy of a riffle, and MOA, is just an angle, it can't differ from the range . 0.5 MOA which means 15mm at 100m (0.15mil), means 30mm at 200m (+ borders on flat target, a little beyond the range from the barrel) . The not proportionally increasing values are just a prank of the shooter, and are not related to the weapon .

I don't fix it, because not sure which value is correct . Please anyone fix it .

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, but the accuracy values in the article are quoted from the manufacturer. If you can provide a source for different values, please do so. - Adolphus79 (talk) 16:12, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Adolphus79, https://www.defensereview.com/ is your Barret manufacturer ? It happens that official information providers make format mistakes . Wikipedia provide authority to editors, to write the data in correct formats . Irvnriir (talk) 00:58, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're correct, I'm sorry I did not check the ref. - Adolphus79 (talk) 09:56, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
