Fantastic article, obviously not a featured candidate but witty nontheless :) 82.42.176.67 20:22, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Origin[edit]

The entry asserts that the meme began with Calandra's essay Angels on a Pin in 1959. However, the earliest instance of the story I have seen referenced is an article by Calandra in 1958 in Reader's Digest Treasury of Wit and Humor (p.303). This would precede the stated origin. 62.244.185.135 (talk) 21:46, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, added in this edit!

Incomplete references[edit]

Reference 2 and 3 seem impossible to refind. Are they books? Shouldn't the title then also be given? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.237.57.239 (talk) 08:49, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
