The result of the move request was: Moved all  — Amakuru (talk) 09:37, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

– Following the recent RM on poetry collections, this is an effort to establishing consistency for short story collections that require disambiguation, as currently there's none. WP:BOOKDAB recommends we "add the type of literary work in parentheses", but doesn't mention short story collections specifically. My suggestion is we move them all to "(short story collection)" following the main article short story collection, but I'm open to other options, and have thus included articles already located at "(short story collection)" in case the consensus is for another format. This just a test case from articles in Category:American short story collections that I hope will be adopted more widely, as has been done for poetry collections. I've specifically left out books like Go Down, Moses (book) and Storyteller (Silko book), which don't fit neatly into the category of short story collections and so need a broader disambiguator. • Support there is some advantage in a consistent dab, though author name would be more useful. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:53, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Infinitely better than such arbitrary and misleading qualifiers as "(book)", "(story)", "(fiction)" and "(novel)". —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 05:08, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
