List of students backed by unreliable source[edit]

Moved from article pending "Discussion", per WP:BRD. Please do not edit war by restoring. First get a consensus for an acceptable version and source:

Some of Herman's own doctoral students include Henry Rutgers University Professor of Philosophy Frances Kamm, University of Wisconsin–Madison Professor Harry Brighouse, Pomona College Associate Professor Julie Tannenbaum, UT Knoxville Assistant Professor Jon Garthoff, UCSB Assistant Professor E. Sonny Elizondo, Dr. Tiffany Cvrkel, and Northwestern Assistant Professor Stephen White.[1]

Explinans, on what basis is a list of students notable enough for inclusion, especially when it's documented in a crowdsourced unreliable source? If there are some students who are very notable, then you might be able to include them, using a RS, but some aren't notable enough for their own article here, and, no matter what, the source is not reliable.

Please explain. -- BullRangifer (talk) 23:22, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
