Dan Thompson[edit]

According to Dan Thompson's obituary, he was born in Winnipeg, Canada, but his family moved to Los Angeles when he was an infant:

Hence referring to him as "Canadian Dan Thompson" is technically correct, but a bit misleading.

Thompson's original bagel machine patent lists his location as Los Angeles:
