Australia

I'd like to see some references for the Australia portion. I'm not familiar with every university in Australia, however, the section covering Australia is not true for any University I've come across in Queensland. I've never come across courses requiring an extra honors year. Honors are awarded solely for good performance in a standard undergraduate degree. I would like it if someone could find some references to prove me wrong.

I also think that the entire second paragraph should be cut since it is only talking about postgraduate studies on a page about undergraduate studies. --Spuzzdawg (talk) 11:34, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Open up a reputable Australian uni website and you'll see for yourself! Your comment is one of the most ridiculous statements regarding tertiary education that I have ever seen. Completely without any grip on reality. Queensland does not represent all of Australia. For a concrete example see Australian National University. The extra Honours year applies for some three year-type regular degrees (Finance, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Statistics, and Commerce majors such as Accounting or Management), not Law (4 year LLB) or Engineering (4 year BEng) where Honours is based on performance across the entire degree or part of the degree. How Honours works varies by the discipline. United States

Why is the entire section dedicated to a Bachelor's with honors? It makes no mention of Masters or PhD, just 3 solid paragraphs about an honors degree.
