Infinity is not fibre all the way[edit]

The Infinity DTTC/VDSL product is not fibre all the way, it uses the existing copper cabling over the last few hundred metres from the streetside cabinet to the home, and so will slow down - VDSL speeds drop off quite quickly with distance from the cabinet. I have reverted the edit by 80.1.87.172 for this reason. I don't think the FTTP product, which IS fiber all the way, has been launched commercially yet. --Opticalgirl (talk) 09:11, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Huawei infrastructure?[edit]

Oh oh, seems that BT Infinity uses the black-listed Chinese company with links to the PLA. [1] Twobells (talk) 16:20, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Services Provided?[edit]

Do you get NNTP supplied or do you have to buy that separately? What servers are you allowed to run? 2.124.32.43 (talk) 03:30, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
