"Threats..." section[edit]

Your efforts to obscure the real discussion here and blatant statement of position make your edits personally biased and an undeniable violation of the BLP policy. 174.108.93.94 (talk) 01:45, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Threats Against Agency Whistleblowers section is biased, and poorly sourced and written. The title itself is POV, and the apparent source for this never actually states as a fact that he made "threats" or "direct threats" against whistleblowers. The section states that one Republican voted for him, then later states that the party was united against him, both claims seemingly without sources. It provides a quote from the opposition attacking Jones without any kind of balance. The list of senators is unnecessary and unlike anything I've seen for any other Senate-approved official on Wikipedia, and it also seems unsourced. I'm going to remove it. Seems like someone simply reversed your actions without making any significant changes. I came to this talk page because of very similar concerns. I think it would be appropriate to flag this article with NPOV flag and Sources flag because both are lacking. I will also remove the section, and whoever returns it MUST give justification before they do that. 99.62.23.9 (talk) 19:04, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thirded, will flag and delete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.225.148.246 (talk) 19:30, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Specifically, this is a living person so it is covered by BLP. The inclusion of this section as the lead gives inappropriate focus on a single issue, and the content itself is intended purely for political attack not summary meaning. The information content must be revised to meet BLP and link to the source of the long list of individual votes rather than provide it here. That gives excessive weight given the length of the article. 99.62.23.9 (talk) 20:52, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to a video isn't the same as a source making the analysis - that is original research and is prohibited especially under BLP. It violates NPOV due to the introduced bias as well. Leave your personal vendettas elsewhere and stick to policy and facts. 174.108.93.94 (talk) 00:08, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion this is a very important man. This article needs to be expanded.--Youngdrake (talk) 12:28, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
