Seasonal ambiguity[edit]

If Idiarte was assassinated on 25 August 1897, there cannot have been an assassination attempt in the spring of that year, since he was already dead. In the southern hemisphere, spring begins in September. So, was the attempt the previous spring (thus 1896, not 1897), or was it actually in the fall of 1897?

I see that the Spanish Wikipedia article on Idiarte clarifies the matter; it was in April 1897. I'll fix it here. 209.179.99.136 (talk) 20:41, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
