architects[edit]

The NRHP infobox mentions architects Davis, A.J. & Downing,A.J., but they are not mentioned in the article text, nor are they wikilinked, though A. J. Davis (architect) and Andrew Jackson Downing are notable architects. Could it be mentioned which buildings they designed? doncram (talk) 22:59, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll check that out. I have a printed copy of the nom form elsewhere and I don't have the web address where I got it with me, so I'll have to do it another time. Of course, when I'm with it, I won't be with a computer....but it'll come together sometime in the next few days. Lvklock (talk) 23:40, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I tried checking List of Registered Historic Places in Cayuga County, New York to see if they were separately listed buildings, but i don't find any good candidates there. Downing's buildings should probably be Italianate, which he popularized. doncram (talk) 03:31, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They are in the text and I wikilinked them: A.J. Davis built Glen Park, Henry Wells' former home, and A.J. Downing designed the grounds. This was donated to Wells College. I seem to remember having worked on an article where that was described, but can't find it. Thought it was in a discussion of Wells himself. --Parkwells (talk) 13:20, 18 June 2009 (UTC) (Removed material about EB Morgan House - not relevant.)--Parkwells (talk) 13:59, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
