Name[edit]

I moved this back to his full name Augustus Henry Eden Allhusen. The article was moved to Augustus Allhusen six years ago (on 12 March 2013‎) with the edit comment that it was "sufficient name", but neither that comment nor any source in article give any indication that he was known as "Augustus" rather than "Henry" or even "Eden". He actually seems to have been known privately as "Henry". A Google Books search for "Henry Allhusen" finds a number of publications about Thomas Hardy that mentions that he was a childhood friend of (the future) Mrs Henry Allhusen.[1] On the other hand, sources of a more official nature, such as the printed Alumni Cantabrigienses, give Allhusen's full name, alphabetizing it accordingly. --Hegvald (talk) 07:40, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
