"The first book of this trilogy"- Assassin's Apprentice isn't a trilogy- Farseer is.[edit]

The opening of the plot summary needs rewriting, I think. The trouble with the opening is that it infers that the trilogy as a whole is "Assassin's Apprentice" which is simply not true- Farseer is. Regardless, the article is about the individual book itself, not the trilogy so either way that opening sentence is out of place. What sort of work do you think is needed? I certainly think the "plot" section on all the books needs rewritten: they're just from the blurbs on the back of the book. —PdDemeter 01:09, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, but this article does not really need a complete rewrite, just expansion. As you have not explained your rationale for calling a rewrite, I'm removing the template. Feel free to reinstate it when you have provided some concrete reasons here. Loom91 08:58, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Descriptions of important characters can be found on Characters in the Realm of the Elderlings and a description of the systems of magic exist at The_Realm_of_the_Elderlings/Concepts if you'd like to link to them in this article. thanks for the links, they could use some work as well =P. the character index is decent, although not very detailed. the magic Index is sparse at best. would it be better to expand the current character index in detail? or do a seperate one for each book with information on how the character relates to that particular book? Merger?[edit]

shouldnt all the three farseer trilodgy books be merged into one article. This would make editing easier and make the series more detailed. considering the three individual pages are short. Culverin 08:26, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there should be a main article, like there is for Soldier Son Trilogy, which is further broken into sub-articles. The 3 books total almost 2000p, and their back-story is elaborate. Comte0 17:12, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
