OWGR points at 2015 Boonchu Ruangkit Championship[edit]

For those wondering why the 2015 Boonchu Ruangkit Championship got 8 OWGR points rather than 6, it was because 5 Thai golfers in the world top 200 played (all in range 101-200) - getting a rating value of 5 + another 4 for the home tour (limited to 75% of 5 = 3.75 rounded up to 4) = total of 9 which turns into 8 points (rating of 6-10 get 8 points). Seems to be the first time a golfer in the world top 200 has played in any of these events since they got OWGR points. Nigej (talk) 13:15, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
